Open Source (OSINT) Watch Officer - Xator Corporation

POSITION OVERVIEW

Xator is looking for Watch Officers to join our team. The Watch Officer will need to monitor alerts, emergencies, and other circumstances identified by the government to provide analytic support on identifying threats to the homeland. The selected candidate should be prepared to work a rotating shift schedule.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

• Support an Open Source Collections Team by monitoring sources for information related to alerts, emergencies, threats, or other identified criteria.
• Work is shift work, with three 8 hour shifts to cover 24 hour operations.
• Research, assess, and summarize evaluated and previously unevaluated information, discerning between useful and inapplicable information.
• Use collected information to created formatted intelligence products and updates.
• Perform duties on-site with the client at Department of Homeland Security's Headquarters element.
