Peraton - Information Environment Assessments Analyst

Peraton is seeking an Information Environment (IE) Assessment Analyst to work on-site at Camp Smith, HI. This experienced IE Assessments Analyst will be responsible for the following:

  • Coordinate/conduct Operations in the Information Environment (OIE) planning, targeting, and assessments with higher, adjacent, and subordinate commands.
  • Develop understanding of the operational landscape and designated audiences in the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility (AOR).
  • Support and inform characterization and designation of designated audiences, events, and domains for competition and conflict operation, activities, and investments (OAIs).
  • Assist coordination of themes, messages, and delivery activities internal to the staff and subordinate commands, as well as appropriate external agencies.
  • Provide OIE assessment/analysis and support to appropriate stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Provide recommendations on the employment of Information Related Capabilities (IRC) to influence a target audience(s) or events in the IE to achieve COMMARFORPAC desired effects.
  • Monitor and assess the IE in the USINDOPACOM (AOR) to update mission planning as well as provide methods to track and measure the effectiveness of the operations; and recommend counter OIE measures, as necessary.
  • Assess future and on-going political-military developments, military capabilities and doctrine, weapons acquisitions, and employment of military forces within each country.
  • Research, author, and coordinate threat assessments to support the Commander and the other senior leadership as well.
  • Incorporate various collection platforms, using multi-domain sourced data, effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources, including human intelligence (HUMINT), signals intelligence (SIGINT), geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), open-source intelligence (OSINT), measurement and signal intelligence (MASINT), cyber, deception, operations security, and open-source disciplines.
  • Conduct briefings, provide written or oral reports/ presentation and updates for staff and decision makers.
  • Assess the believability of the information from the reliable sources, collects it and validates intelligence. May provide team leadership to other Analysts.
  • Liaison with other Marine Corps Forces (MARFORs) OIE elements outside of USINDOPACOM as needed. Liaison with other DoD and IC Agencies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • HS 14-16, BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance .
  • Experience in USINDOPACOM AOR with Operations and Intelligence.
  • Ability to work independently and conduct and present complex briefings for senior-leader decision making.

Desired skills:

  • Experience with Information Related Capabilities (IRCs), including MISO, MILDEC, Public Affairs, Civil Affairs, Electronic Warfare, Cyber Operations, Operations Security (OPSEC), and Cyber Electro Magnetic Activities (CEMA).
  • Experience with conducting open-source research, competitive intelligence or commercial due diligence, all-source intelligence analysis, targeting and counterintelligence (CI) operations or analysis at the Marine Expeditionary Force, Corps, Division or Marine Forces level.
