ABBVIE - Senior Cyber Security Engineer - OSINT

Full Job Description

AbbVie is looking for a talented Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our Cyber Threat Intelligence team.

This role will focus on the design, building, and automating of a new service component, and will leverage your strengths in scripting and data analytics to automatically collect, normalize, and analyze intelligence artifacts across multiple sources to generate an assessment product supporting different intelligence requirements.

Along with building the service, you will collaborate with other members of the team on different intelligence initiatives, such as threat modeling and malware analysis, correlating indicators and behaviors to campaigns and activity groups, and briefing stakeholders throughout the organization.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in modern DevOps environments with exposure to the following:

• Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages
• Cloud platforms and automation tools (i.e. Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Container and platform technology
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 5+ years in information technology

You should have experience building and implementing an app in a production-like environment.

Experience in cybersecurity is not required, but ideal candidates should have a strong interest in developing cybersecurity expertise, as this role will plunge you into this space.

Candidates should also possess strong written and oral communication skills, and have exposure to communicating at different levels of an organization.
