Booz Allen Hamilton - ELINT Analyst

As an electronic intelligence (ELINT) analyst, you use your specialized technical, regional, and functional experience and your attention to detail to develop intelligence, products, and analytical assessments to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to lead efforts to support our warfighters and protect our national security.

As an ELINT analyst on our team, you’ll help your client understand their operational landscape and mission environment. Using your understanding of various collection platforms, you’ll explore new data sources, build effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources, including SIGINT, geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), and open-source intelligence (OSINT). You’ll validate information and apply client tradecraft as you build assessments for targeters, warfighters, and policy makers. As the authority on your mission, your client will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills in intelligence collection, and share your methodologies with other analysts. You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in the operational electronic intelligence (ELINT) or technical ELINT analysis field
  • 3+ years of experience with supporting all-source or ELINT analysis and production at a Major Command level
  • Experience using systems such as GALE, GALE-LITE, MIDB, or FADEMIST
  • Experience in signals analysis, including COMINT, ELINT, FISINT, or PROFORMA
  • Ability to provide shift work support
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with INDOPACOM Intelligence problem sets
  • Experience identifying military and commercial air or ground radar signals of interest
  • Ability to leverage existing applications or methods and provide input into the development of new applications that improve products or methods
  • Ability to mentor and teach more junior analysts
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Completion of a credentialing Service School or Intelligence Community (IC) tradecraft-recognized SIGINT Analyst Course
  • Completion of 451 Intermediate Signals Analysis or 452 Advanced Signals Analysis Course

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
