Zachary Piper Solutions - Cyber Intelligence Linguist - Mandarin
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cyber Intelligence Linguist (Mandarin) to provide advanced threat monitoring and intelligence analysis for the nations largest digital forensics lab. We are seeking a well-versed linguist and mandarin linguist to detect and analyze threat actors for the lab in Linthicum, MD.
Clearance: Must have active TS w/ SCI eligibility
Responsibilities of the Cyber Linguist include:
- Provide translation and analytical support focused on cyber threat actors/activity
- Author and review intelligence products by applying their linguist skills, cultural understanding, and technical abilities
- Collaborate with other analysts and members from the FBI and various Intel agencies on a regular basis
- Write detailed reports based on network protocols, cyber actors or cyber threats 60+ pages in length
- Perform analysis of raw data and present information in a visually appealing way using platforms such as Visio, Analyst Notebook, Palantir, etc.)
- Brief groups of people ranging from 10-50 regarding intelligence analysis findings, report briefings, translation, etc.
Qualifications of the Cyber Linguist include:
- 5+ years of professional experience
- Experience with Computer Network Defense, Law Enforcement/ Counterintelligence, Intelligence analysis, and/or cyber security
- Experience and ability to author 60+ page analytical reports
- All-source/ open-source background; HUMINT, GEOINT, SIGINT, OSINT, social media networking analysis
- Basic intermediate knowledge of network communication, TCP/IP protocols, networks, routers, switches, network defense operations
- High proficiency with Mandarin language with a DLPT score R3/L3 or higher
Compensation of the Cyber Linguist include:
- $125K-165K+ **based on experience**
